The Sheng Zhen Teacher Training

Warm greetings from the International Sheng Zhen Society!
It is with great joy that we invite you to participate in the 2008 Teacher
Training Course in Nevada City,
California this coming summer, the 14th Teacher Training Course since 2001.
As in the previous
Teacher Training Courses, we hope to inspire Sheng Zhen practitioners to
share the gifts of the
Sheng Zhen practices.
This upcoming event promises to support one’s practice and teaching
abilities with practical qigong
teaching techniques. Furthermore, it aims to introduce a broader perspective
of qigong as a whole
and assist in enriching one’s understanding of the practice.
Master Li Jun Feng will conduct the Teacher Training Course. The main forms
will be
Awakening the Soul, Kuan Yin Standing and Zhongtian Yiqi Meditation.
WHEN?
The program goes as follows:
July 11: Arrival. Check in and registration starting at 2:00 PM.
Dinner will
be served at 6:00 PM followed by evening training.
July 12: First full day of Teacher Training.
July 21: Teacher Training Course ends after lunch.
The 10 day TT fee is $1580 US per person.
($1230 US per person if you live locally or arrange your own
accommodations.)
The $1580 includes accommodation, transportation from & back to Sacramento
Airport, meals and
training fees.
To guarantee the quality of the Teacher Training Course, the maximum number
of participants will be
limited to 50.
Please plan on arriving before dinner on July 11th
WHERE?
The venue is the Veterans’ Building, 415 North Pine Street in Nevada City,
California.
Nevada City is a small Victorian town (population 2800) settled during the
Goldrush of
1849, and nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains (elevation
2400 ft).

It is located about 1 hour and 20 minutes from the Sacramento International
Airport,
and is about the same distance from beautiful Lake Tahoe, one of the largest
&
clearest lakes in the World. It is also a short 20 minute drive from the
spectacular
Yuba River.
We
will be taking a “Return to Nature” field trip down to the river during
the training.
